Impact of Transportation Electrification on the Electricity Grid—A Review

open access: yesVehicles, 2022
Transportation electrification is a pivotal factor in accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. Electric vehicles (EVs) can operate either as loads or distributed power resources in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) or vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) linkage. This

Vehicle Routeing with Multiple Use of Vehicles [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Operational Research Society, 1996
Summary: The vehicle routeing problem with multiple use of vehicles is a variant of the standard vehicle routeing problem in which the same vehicle may be assigned to several routes during a given planning period. A tabu search heuristic is developed for this problem. It is shown to produce high quality solutions on a series of test problems.

SG-YOLO: A multi-module enhanced target detection method adapted to vehicle–road cooperation

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
In intelligent transportation and autonomous driving, precise object detection is crucial for vehicle–road coordination. While YOLO algorithms have made strides, issues such as low accuracy and limited robustness persist, especially with small objects ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Operation requirements for V2X communication of PLMN

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2016
Two kinds of V2X technology were introduced briefly and several typical V2X use cases were listed. It was suggested that V2X applications should be deployed with vehicular active safety function firstly.Based on V2X communication of PLMN,operation ...

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

A Novel Open-Source Simulator Of Electric Vehicles in a Demand-Side Management Scenario

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
Recently, due to the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) market, the investigation of grid-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-grid strategies has become a priority in both the electric mobility and distribution grid research areas.
