Exosomes can reduce tissue damage in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA), but rapid clearance limits their efficacy. This study encapsulates exosomes in hyaluronic acid hydrogels for controlled release. In a rat model, hydrogel‐encapsulated exosomes outperform free exosomes in preserving bone integrity and reducing tissue destruction ...

HU308 Mitigates Osteoarthritis by Stimulating Sox9‐Related Networks of Carbohydrate Metabolism
ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) is characterized by progressive, irreversible erosion of articular cartilage accompanied by severe pain and immobility. This study aimed to assess the effect and mechanism of action of HU308, a selective cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2) agonist, in preventing OA‐related joint damage. To test the assumption that HU308 could

Computational Modeling of Reticular Materials: The Past, the Present, and the Future
Reticular materials are advanced materials with applications in emerging technologies. A thorough understanding of material properties at operating conditions is critical to accelerate the deployment at an industrial scale. Herein, the status of computational modeling of reticular materials is reviewed, supplemented with topical examples highlighting ...

Distributed Database Systems in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network
The article introduces basics of classic Distributed Database System (DDBS) and explains its unsuitability for dynamically changing networks such as Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET). Thus a concept of a new architecture is proposed. This new architecture

A MEMS Electromagnetic Vibration Energy Harvester with Monolithically Integrated NdFeB Micromagnets
50µm thick sputtered arrays of NdFeB micromagnets are directly integrated into a functional MEMS in‐plane electromagnetic vibration energy harvester. A combination of analytical modeling and numerical simulations guided the design of the magnet arrays and ad‐hoc coil, to produce a high transduction factor.

Systematic review on spheroids from adipose‐derived stem cells: Spontaneous or artefact state?
Our proposed model of spheroid isolation from liposuction fat. The tissue disintegration releases the pre‐existing spheroids as intact structures. This could be the ideal technique to culture cells in suspension because it avoids a preliminary adhesion isolation step and thus an upstream cell selection.
