Clinical application of palatal lift appliance in velopharyngeal incompetence

Relapse of Graves' disease with repetitive depression and dysphagia episodes: A case report

An aged woman with depression presented with suffocation due to Graves' disease relapse. Apathetic thyrotoxicosis accompanies depression in the senile state. Thyrotoxicosis sometimes elicits myopathy and dysphagia. Clinicians should remember that dysphagia may be an onset symptom of hyperthyroidism accompanied by recurrent depression.
