Dexpanthenol Attenuates Methotrexate‐Induced Nephrotoxicity Through Modulation of NF‐κB–Mediated Inflammation and SIRT1/PGC‐1α–NRF2/HO‐1–Associated Oxidative Stress Pathways

open access: yesJournal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 8, August 2026.
Graphical abstract depicting the protective role of DEX against MTX‐induced nephrotoxicity. MTX exposure activates NF‐κB, leading to upregulation of TNF‐α and downstream apoptotic mediator Cas‐3, which collectively drive inflammation, apoptosis, and renal tissue damage. Simultaneously, MTX suppresses protective regulators SIRT1, PGC‐1α, NRF2, and HO‐1,

Parasympathetic Tone Selectively Modulates Electrogram Fragmentation and Spectral Properties in Right Atrial Ganglionated Plexi

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 4, August 2026.
Electrogram fragmentation and spectral EGMs features in GPs area are selectively modulated by parasympathetic tone, as demonstrated by high‐density right atrial mapping before and after vagal blockade. EGMs, bipolar atrial electrograms; GPs, ganglionated plexi; RA, right atrium.

Diamond‐Embedded Temperature Control Catheter Enables Faster and More Efficient Cavotricuspid Isthmus Ablation Compared to Contact Force Sensing Catheters

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 4, August 2026.
Temperature‐controlled ablation using the DiamondTemp catheter significantly reduced total radiofrequency duration and procedure time compared with contact force‐sensing catheters during cavotricuspid isthmus ablation, maintaining procedural safety and acute success.

The Japanese Catheter Ablation Registry (J‐AB): Annual Report in 2024

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 4, August 2026.
Analysis of 112 151 catheter ablation procedures from the 2024 Japanese Catheter Ablation (J‐AB) Registry demonstrated consistently low acute complication rates, with a slight reduction from 2023, confirming the safety of contemporary catheter ablation practice in Japan.

Association Between Inferior Vena Cava Location and the Number of Deployments of a Leadless Pacemaker

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 4, August 2026.
This study evaluated the impact of inferior vena cava (IVC) location, assessed by preoperative CT, on leadless pacemaker implantation in 96 patients. Left‐sided IVC group was significantly associated with a higher risk of multiple deployments compared to Right‐sided IVC group (67% vs. 36%, p = 0.02).
