ABSTRACT We report the case of a 19‐year‐old man who presented with several months of exertional dyspnea and recent‐onset hemostasis. Initial imaging revealed multiple pulmonary nodules. Days later, he was referred to a specialized center with chest pain and signs of pericarditis.

Severe Lactic Acidosis in Decompensated Cirrhosis Despite Nondiagnostic Imaging
ABSTRACT Lactic acidosis is a strong predictor of mortality in cirrhosis, reflecting both impaired hepatic clearance and systemic tissue hypoxia. We describe a 38‐year‐old man with decompensated alcohol‐associated cirrhosis who developed severe lactic acidosis despite stable hemodynamics and initially nondiagnostic vascular imaging.

Atrial Flutter as a Late Presentation of Scimitar Vein in an Adult With Prior ASD Repair
ABSTRACT Adult patients with unexplained atrial arrhythmias and right heart dilation should prompt consideration of congenital anomalies such as scimitar vein, even decades after atrial septal defect repair. Early recognition using multi‐modality imaging may prevent delayed diagnosis and progressive cardiopulmonary complications.
