ABSTRACT Background and Aim Current pediatric renal tumor treatment protocols allow for nephron‐sparing surgery (NSS) for unilateral disease only under strict conditions. Oncological guidelines do not account for surgical feasibility, however, possibly reducing the utilization of NSS.
