Wide QRS Tachycardia in WPW: When Antidromic AVRT Imitates VT

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Atrioventricular Re‐entry Tachycardia (AVRT) occurs in patients with accessory pathways (AP) via a re‐entry circuit between the AV node and the AP. Anterograde conduction through the AP causes antidromic AVRT with wide QRS complexes, which may mimic ventricular tachycardia (VT). We report a 59‐year‐old male with ischemic cardiomyopathy (EF 35%)

Endovascular Repair of an Ilio‐Iliac Arteriovenous Fistula Presenting as Acute Lower Limb Edema

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT A ruptured iliac aneurysm with an arteriovenous fistula is a life‐threatening disease that requires immediate treatment. However, an arteriovenous fistula due to iliac aneurysm rupture is rare and challenging to diagnose, especially in the absence of classic symptoms.

Experience With Surgical Correction of Retrocaval Ureter: A Report of Two Cases From Northern Tanzania

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
Two adults with flank pain were diagnosed with a retrocaval ureter on CT showing a characteristic fishhook deformity and hydroureteronephrosis. Open pyeloureterostomy with anterior ureteral transposition resulted in an uneventful recovery and preserved renal function.

Minimally Invasive Treatment of an Isolated Ruptured Aneurysm of the Common Iliac Artery: A Rare Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Isolated iliac artery aneurysms (IAA) are a rare form of aortic disease associated with an increased risk of rupture. In case of extensive retroperitoneal hematomas, two‐stage surgical removal must always be considered. A combined approach involving endovascular and open surgery is often the best treatment strategy.

Occlusion and Vascular Malformation Solved by a Novel Recanalization Management in a Hemodialysis Patient: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Our case report demonstrates that combined with percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and extraluminal recanalization, better blood flow was regained and the new vascular access was able to support regular hemodialysis. This may be another better choice for vascular access malformation for hemodialysis patients.

Increased Infiltration of CD4+, CD8+, and CD68+ Cells at the Invasive Front Is Associated With Favorable Prognosis in Obstructive Colorectal Cancer: A Retrospective Observational Study

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Obstructive colorectal cancer (OCRC) presents as an oncologic emergency with poor prognosis. Although tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) are known to affect colorectal cancer outcomes, their roles in OCRC remain unclear.

Inflammation in Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension: An Immunometabolic Mechanistic Framework and Clinical Implications

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 3, March 2026.
Systemic metabolic dysfunction and comorbidities may act as upstream modulators converging on inflammatory activation, which is closely intertwined with excessive CSF production and impaired clearance, potentially contributing to sustained ICP elevation.

Real‐World Edoxaban Concentrations in Older Patients Receiving Reduced‐Dose Regimens

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 119, Issue 3, Page 688-695, March 2026.
Real‐world edoxaban concentrations in older patients receiving reduced‐dose regimens. Low trough concentrations (< 12 ng/mL) were associated with an increased risk of thromboembolism. Among patients meeting the ELDERCARE‐AF criteria, low drug levels were more frequent with the 15 mg regimen than with the 30 mg regimen.

Levels and Effects of Nogo‐B in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes or Hyperglycemic HUVEC Model

open access: yesEndocrinology, Diabetes &Metabolism, Volume 9, Issue 2, March 2026.
Nogo‐B levels significantly decrease in T2DM patients with or without vascular complications (VC). Nogo‐B alleviates endothelial cell injury by affecting TGF‐β signalling in an in vitro model. ABSTRACT Background There is still a lack of enough evidence about Nogo‐B levels and vascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes.
