Age‐Dependent Correlation of Pulmonary Function Impairment and Aortic Arch Stiffness in Mice

open access: yesPediatric Discovery, EarlyView.
This study examined the relationship between aortic arch stiffness and lung function in aging mice. Multiple linear regression modeling showed moderate to strong correlations between the rise in aortic arch stiffness and changes in lung function as the mice progressively aged.

Isolated right ventricular outflow obstruction: A unique phenotype of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with review of literature

open access: yesIHJ Cardiovascular Case Reports, 2019
Biventricular outflow obstruction in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is an uncommon phenotype. A rare variant is that with isolated right ventricular outflow obstruction without resting or provocable pressure gradients within the left ventricular cavity.

Urinary Proteomics and Systems Biology Link Eight Proteins to the Higher Risk of Hypertension and Related Complications in Blacks Versus Whites

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Blacks are more prone to salt‐sensitive hypertension than Whites. This cross‐sectional analysis of a multi‐ethnic cohort aimed to search for proteins potentially involved in the susceptibility to salt sensitivity, hypertension, and hypertension‐related complications.

SpatialCNS‐PBPK: An R/Shiny Web‐Based Application for Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling of Spatial Pharmacokinetics in the Human Central Nervous System and Brain Tumors

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Quantitative understanding of drug penetration and exposure in the human central nervous system (CNS) and brain tumors is essential for the rational development of new drugs and optimal use of existing drugs for brain cancer. To address this need, we developed and validated a novel 9‐compartment permeability‐limited CNS (9‐CNS) physiologically

Understanding the Mechanism of Cardiotoxicity Induced by Nanomaterials: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
This review provides a bibliometric analysis for understanding the study of nanotoxicity on cardiovascular health. It begins by outlining the pathways through which nanomaterials enter the cardiovascular system, followed by a summary of the mechanisms underlying nanomaterial‐induced cardiotoxicity.

Sainsc: A Computational Tool for Segmentation‐Free Analysis of In Situ Capture Data

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
Spatially resolved transcriptomics methods can now profile the entire transcriptome, at full organism scale with nanometre resolution. Analysis frameworks that can efficiently and intuitively process the massive data generated by these methods are lacking.
