Development and Morphology of the Ventricular Outflow Tracts. [PDF]
It is customary, at the current time, to consider many, if not most, of the lesions involving the ventricular outflow tract in terms of conotruncal malformations.

Idiopathic left ventricular outflow tract pseudoaneurysm
Left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) pseudoaneurysm is a rare occurrence and may produce clinically unpredictable symptoms. A very few cases of LVOT pseudoaneurysm are reported and there has always been a predisposing factor in these reported cases such

Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Tachycardias
Left ventricular outflow tract tachycardia (LVOT-VT) is an uncommon type of idiopathic left ventricular tachycardia (ILVT) thought to be due to cyclic adenosine mono phosphate (c-AMP) mediated triggered activity. The arrhythmia can be terminated pharmacologically with calcium channel blockers or beta-blockers.

Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Myxoma [PDF]
This article reports a left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) myxoma, presenting with peripheral embolus, in a 90-year-old patient during the follow-up due to ischemic heart disease. Among LVOT myxomas, which are usually very rare and most likely to present with manifestations due to obstruction, this is the first case presenting with peripheral embolus.

Fibroelastomas of the left ventricular outflow tract [PDF]
Primary cardiac tumours are uncommon and most of them are benign myxomas. Only one-tenth of the tumours are fibroelastomas of the cardiac valves. We report two cases with a longstanding history of valvular heart disease where a diagnosis of fibroelastoma of the left ventricular outflow tract was confirmed by histology.

Background Pulmonary atresia and tetralogy of Fallot can require palliative surgery in the neonatal period due to severe hypoxia; however, limitations of established techniques include high failure rate and need for cardiopulmonary bypass.
