Characterization of a Bioprinted Anticancer Cell Therapy System Generated with Continuous Liquid Interface Production

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Cell therapies often fail in the clinic due to poor in vivo persistence. In this study, we developed a 3D bioprinting strategy using continuous liquid interface production (CLIP) to generate cell therapy delivery systems. We provide a robust characterization of this new technique, demonstrating the positive effect of CLIP bioprinting on the efficacy of

Design and Development of rGO and Polymer‐Based Patches for Cardiac Tissue Engineering

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Myocardial infarction (MI), caused by coronary artery blockage, is a leading cause of death worldwide and results in permanent heart damage. Current treatments have limited success in fully restoring cardiac function, leading to increased interest in tissue engineering solutions.

Noradrenergic and cholinergic innervation of the normal human heart and changes associated with cardiomyopathy

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Autonomic nerves are crucial in cardiac function and pathology. However, data on the distribution of cholinergic and noradrenergic nerves in normal and pathologic human hearts is lacking. Nonfailing donor hearts were pressure‐perfusion fixed, imaged, and dissected. Left ventricular cardiomyopathy samples were also obtained.
