SEARCH OF THE STRESS INDUSED VENTRICULAR TACHICARDIA REASONS — THE METABOLIC THERAPY OPPORTUNITIES

open access: yesАрхивъ внутренней медицины, 2018
A clinical case of a 56-year-old man is presented in which only ventricular tachycardia without clinical and ECG criteria of myocardial ischemia is recorded on the exercise test. The ventricular tachycardia was the only reason for stopping the test. This

Blood pressure effects of SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists: Mechanisms, trial evidence and Real‐world data

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists modestly lower blood pressure across diverse patient populations, including those without diabetes. These effects appear largely independent of glycaemic control and offer additive value in high‐risk patients with overlapping comorbidities.

Interesting response to ventricular overdrive pacing during regular narrow QRS tachycardia. What is the mechanism?

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2020
33 year old gentleman has undergone an electrophysiology study for recurrent paroxysmal palpitation. During one of the episodes of palpitation a regular narrow QRS tachycardia was documented which has terminated with intravenous adenosine.

Biomaterial design strategies for enhancing mitochondrial transplantation therapy

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Biomaterials to facilitate mitochondrial transplantation therapy: biomaterials as barriers to protect mitochondria from pathophysiological microenvironments, like osmotic stress caused by the excessive concentration of calcium ion, reactive oxygen species, and advanced glycation end products; biomaterials integrating with biochemical cues to improve ...

Automatic Mode Switching in Atrial Fibrillation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Automatic mode switching (AMS) algorithms were designed to prevent tracking of atrial tachyarrhythmias (ATA) or other rapidly occurring signals sensed by atrial channels, thereby reducing the adverse hemodynamic and symptomatic consequences of a rapid ...

Unveiling the Microvasculature: The Index of Microcirculatory Resistance and Its Expanding Role in Cardiovascular Care

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Index of microcirculatory resistance (IMR) is a cutting‐edge, wire‐based tool that advances the capability assessment of coronary microvascular function. By utilizing distal coronary pressure and mean transit time under maximal hyperemia, IMR delivers consistent, reproducible insights into the microvasculature's dynamic health.

Coexistence of Atrioventricular Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia and Idiopathic Left Ventricular Outflow-Tract Tachycardia

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2005
Double tachycardia is a relatively rare condition. We describe a 21 year old woman with history of frequent palpitations. In one of these episodes, she had wide complex tachycardia with right bundle branch and inferior axis morphology.
