The Hebrew Verbs and Aspect

Abstract This chapter examines the verbs and the concept of aspect in biblical Hebrew (BH) language. It suggests that the sequential interpretation triggered by wayyiqtols in the BH text is closely connected with the fact that the wayyiqtol form represents situations which include their end points.
