Lectotypifications in the Genus Petrea (Verbenaceae)

Twenty-one specific epithets in Petrea need lectotypification. Of these, 17 holotypes were not originally designated, two types were destroyed during World War II, and two are missing. As a result of an ongoing study toward a monograph of the genus Petrea, a number of specific epithets have been found to need lectotypification.
