Kew Bulletin, 2021The lectotypification of the Linnaean name Verbena orubica L. is discussed. Based on thorough study of original material and pertinent literature, a critical review is provided and a lectotype is designated upon a specimen from the Clifford herbarium. This material preserves the current application of the name to a species of Stachytarpheta Vahl.
