ABSTRACT The ubiquitin‐dependent Arg/N‐degron pathway relates the stability of a substrate protein to the nature of its N‐terminal amino acid residue or its biochemical modifications, with some N‐terminal residues being recognized by specific E3 ubiquitin ligases, resulting in the ubiquitylation and degradation of the substrate protein.

ABSTRACT Warming climates bring significant challenges to the survival and growth of conifer species, yet the genomic basis of drought resistance is poorly understood. In this study, we used a common garden experiment to combine genomic, physiological and transcriptomic analysis to dissect plastic and adaptive responses to drought between Douglas‐fir ...

Microwave processing of vermiculite
Vermiculite is a clay mineral that is generally used for a wide range of applications such as in agricultural, horticultural and construction industries. This is due to its various properties which include high porosity, lightweight, thermo-insulating, non-toxic and good absorption capacity when exfoliated.
