Twelve cases of rabbits that underwent surgical excision and were diagnosed with intraabdominal abscess between 2017 and 2023 were retrospectively evaluated. Intraabdominal abscesses in rabbits were commonly associated with the vermiform appendix and previous gastrointestinal perforation.
