Elliptic non-Abelian Donaldson-Thomas invariants of ℂ 3

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We compute the elliptic genus of the D1/D7 brane system in flat space, finding a non-trivial dependence on the number of D7 branes, and provide an F-theory interpretation of the result.

Molecular Inks for the Development of Complex 3D In‐Mold Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Molecular inks (MINKs) enable the fabrication of thermoformed 3D circuits by decoupling the forming and metallization steps. Following thermoforming, intense pulsed‑light or thermal processing converts the patterned MINKs into complex 3D conductive tracks with improved stretchability and electrical performance, advancing low‑cost, high‑performance in ...

Vertex Set Partitions Preserving Conservativeness

open access: yes, 1997
Let G be an undirected graph and P = fX 1 ; : : : ; X n g be a partition of V (G). Denote by G/P the graph which has vertex set fX 1 ; : : : ; X n g, edge set E, and is obtained from G by identifying vertices in each class X i of the partition P. Given a

On Compatible Normal Odd Partitions in Cubic Graphs

open access: yes, 2013
International audienceA normal odd partition T of the edges of a cubic graph is a partition into trails of odd length (no repeated edge) such that each vertex is the end vertex of exactly one trail of the partition and internal in some trail.

Weighted Partition Vertex and Edge Cover

open access: yesCoRR
We study generalizations of the classical Vertex Cover and Edge Cover problems that incorporate group-wise coverage constraints. Our first focus is the \emph{Weighted Prize-Collecting Partition Vertex Cover} (WP-PVC) problem: given a graph with weights on both vertices and edges, and a partition of the edge set into $ω$ groups, the goal is to select a ...

Vertex partition problems in digraphs

open access: yesAnais do III Encontro de Teoria da Computação (ETC 2018), 2018
Let D be a digraph and k be a positive integer. Linial (1981) conjec tured that the k-norm of a k-minimum path partition of a digraph D is at most max{ΣC∈C |C| : C is a partial k-coloring of D}. Berge (1982) conjectured that every k-minimum path partition contains a partial k-coloring orthogonal to it.

High‐Power Rapid Laser‐Induced Synthesis of Multi‐functional Cobalt Metal‐Organic Framework With an Unprecedented Synthesis Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Uniform and most uniform partitions of trees

open access: yes, 2018
This paper addresses centered and non centered equipartition tree problems into connected components (p-partitions). In the former case, each partition must contain exactly one special vertex called center, whereas in the latter, partitions are not ...

Thickness‐Dependent Infrared Emissivity of Ultrathin Freestanding MoSiN Nanocomposite Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Metals and dielectrics show opposite trends in thickness‐dependent infrared emissivity: metallic films exhibit a rise in emissivity below a critical thickness, while dielectric films show a corresponding decline. For applications demanding both high emissivity and mechanical strength in membranes with nanoscale thickness, combining these ...

The orbifold topological vertex

open access: yes, 2012
We develop a topological vertex formalism for computing the Donaldson–Thomas invariants of Calabi–Yau orbifolds. The basic combinatorial object is the orbifold vertex VλμνG, a generating function for the number of 3D partitions asymptotic to 2D ...
