Altering Occlusal Vertical Dimension Provisionally with Base Metal Onlays: A Clinical Report [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This article presents a method for altering occlusal vertical dimension (OVD) to restore dentitions with limited restorative space due to loss of tooth structure.

Classification of acute myeloid leukemia based on multi‐omics and prognosis prediction value

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The Unsupervised AML Multi‐Omics Classification System (UAMOCS) integrates genomic, methylation, and transcriptomic data to categorize AML patients into three subtypes (UAMOCS1‐3). This classification reveals clinical relevance, highlighting immune and chromosomal characteristics, prognosis, and therapeutic vulnerabilities.

On environments as systemic exoskeletons: Crosscutting optimizers and antifragility enablers

open access: yes, 2015
Classic approaches to General Systems Theory often adopt an individual perspective and a limited number of systemic classes. As a result, those classes include a wide number and variety of systems that result equivalent to each other.

On lelong-bremermann lemma [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The main theorem of this note is the following refinement of the well-known Lelong-Bremermann Lemma: Let u be a continuous plurisubharmonic function on a Stein manifold. of dimension n.

A large‐scale retrospective study in metastatic breast cancer patients using circulating tumour DNA and machine learning to predict treatment outcome and progression‐free survival

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...

Full mouth rehabilitation of the patient with severely worn dentition: a case report [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The severe wear of anterior teeth facilitates the loss of anterior guidance, which protects the posterior teeth from wear during excursive movement. The collapse of posterior teeth also results in the loss of normal occlusal plane and the reduction of ...

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Penggunaan Ukuran Sepertiga Wajah pada Penentuan Omens! Vertikal Resposisi (dvr) Perawatan gigi tiruan lengkap [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The vertical dimension measurement is considered to be an important factor for full denture of maxillo mandibulair relationship (MMR) stage. Two kinds of the vertical dimension, there are occlusal vertical dimension (OVD) and rest position vertical ...

Varieties fibered by good minimal models

open access: yes, 2010
Let f:X->Y be an algebraic fiber space such that the general fiber has a good minimal model. We show that if f is the Iitaka fibration or if f is the Albanese map of relative dimension no more than three, then X has a good minimal model.Comment: 12 pages.

Library towers and the vertical dimension of knowledge [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Verticality, and related figures such as the tower, stack, or mountain, are commonly used as spatial metaphors to express the hierarchy that we apply to information and knowledge.
