Thermo‐Mechanically Recyclable Smart Textiles from Circularly Knitted Liquid Crystal Elastomer Fibers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reprogrammable multi‐material smart textiles knitted from liquid crystal elastomer fibers undergo 2D and 3D deformation under thermal and photo stimuli. Circularly knitted tubular structures reversibly contract in radial and axial directions, enabling autonomous climbing, liquid release, and micro pumping.

Compensation of gravity on cold atoms by a linear optical potential

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
We demonstrate gravity compensation for an ultracold gas of ^{87}Rb atoms with a time-averaged optical potential. The position of a far-off-resonance beam is temporally modulated with an acousto-optic deflector to efficiently produce a potential with a ...

The 1998 November 14 Occultation of GSC 0622-00345 by Saturn. II. Stratospheric Thermal Profile, Power Spectrum, and Gravity Waves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
On 1998 November 14, Saturn and its rings occulted the star GSC 0622-00345. The occultation latitude was 55.5 degrees S. This paper analyzes the 2.3 {\mu}m light curve derived by Harrington & French. A fixed-baseline isothermal fit to the light curve has

Determination of Anomaly Source Border Using Reweighting Focusing Inversion of Two-Dimensional Gravity Horizontal Gradient Data and Conventional Edge Detection Methods (Case Study: A Chromite Mass in Sabzevar, Iran)

open access: yesGeofísica Internacional
There are numerous methods to detect the edge of gravity and magnetic field anomaly source, most of which are based on the combination of first and second-order horizontal and vertical gradients of the potential field.

Hydrocolloid‐Based Multiwavelength Stretchable QD‐OLED Patch for Simultaneous Neonatal Jaundice and Dermatitis Treatment with Biosignal Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Comparison of therapeutic and diagnostic applications of a surface‐emitting light source with multiwavelength emission characteristics. Abstract Conventional light‐emitting‐diode‐based light sources suffer from rigidity, localized heating, and poor adaptability to skin deformation, limiting their use in skin‐attached medical devices.
