Advances in Position‐Momentum Entanglement: A Versatile Tool for Quantum Technologies
Position–momentum entanglement constitutes a high‐dimensional continuous‐variable resource in quantum optics. Recent advances in its generation, characterization, and control are reviewed, with emphasis on spontaneous parametric down‐conversion and modern measurement techniques.

Asymptotics for the Spectrum of the Laplacian in Thin Bars with Varying Cross Sections
ABSTRACT We consider spectral problems for the Laplace operator in 3D rod structures with a small cross section of diameter O(ε)$$ O\left(\varepsilon \right) $$, ε$$ \varepsilon $$ being a positive parameter. The boundary conditions are Dirichlet (Neumann, respectively) on the bases of this structure, and Neumann on the lateral boundary.

Removing the anonymity axiom in assessing pro-poor growth [PDF]
The recent focus on ‘pro-poor growth’ led also to an intense debate on how exactly to define and to measure pro-poor growth. However, all suggested measures, irrespective whether they use the absolute or the relative definition of pro-poor growth have in

Horizontal and vertical inequality in a social welfare framework [PDF]
In this paper a new definition of horizontal inequality is adopted. It is defined in terms of the distributional change within intervals of similar households, produced by the Tax System. We believe that this definition is better suited for measurement of the comparative injustice that may be caused by the Tax System among similar households.

Predefined‐Time Dynamic Surface Control of Tank Horizontal Stabilization System With Disturbance
ABSTRACT Modern new tanks are difficult to achieve high precision control of the horizontal stabilization system due to electromechanical coupling and road surface disturbance during high‐speed combat. A predefined‐time dynamic surface controller (DSCPT) is proposed for the fast stabilization and strong disturbance problems of the tank horizontal ...

ABSTRACT This paper presents a three‐layer control architecture designed to enhance vehicle lateral stability under uncertain and varying road conditions. The system utilizes output‐feedback‐based finite‐time controllers to track the desired yaw rate and longitudinal slip in the upper and lower layers, respectively.

The Tragedy of the Commons or the Curse of Federalism [PDF]
It has been suggested that …scal federalism is a good way to induce decentralized entities to behave parsimoniously, but this has been largely criticized in the literature, in particular because of the Common-Pool problem.
