Ultrastable Photoactive Halide Perovskite Nanocrystal‐Sensitized SnO2 Nanorods for Room‐Temperature NO2 Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Metal oxide (MOx)‐based NO2 gas sensors typically require high temperatures or ultraviolet light, limiting their practical use. To enable visible‐light activation at room temperature, efficient and stable photosensitizers should be integrated with nanostructured MOx hosts.

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

Trophic adaptation strategies of deep-Sea fish in cold seep environments

open access: yesWater Biology and Security
The diversity of marine habitats influences fish trophic niches and adaptation strategies. This study investigated fish trophic niches in cold seep and adjacent areas of the South China Sea in August 2023 using stable isotope techniques.

VERTICAL INTEGRATION FOR FULL OUTSOURCING: GROWTH AND INTERNATIONALIZATION OF A PORTUGUESE PACKAGING FIRM [PDF]

open access: yes
Based on a case study of a Portuguese packaging firm, this paper examines how vertical integration of the supplier serves as a vehicle for the full outsourcing of the client firms' needs in a solution that reduces transaction costs, favors specialization,

Copper‐Based Crystalline‐Metallic Glass Composite Thin Films: A Novel Material with Enhanced Strength and Thermally Stable Nanotwins

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Cu‐based crystal‐glass composite with high‐density twins is identified by a fast screening technique using combinatorial sputtering together with XRD and nanoindentation mapping. This bamboo‐like structure demonstrates homogenous plastic flow and retains high strength during in situ high temperature tests, up to 1 GPa at 550°C, owing to those ...

Multi Country Vertical Specialization Dependence: A New Approach to the Vertical Specialization study

open access: yesMulti Country Vertical Specialization Dependence: A New Approach to the Vertical Specialization study
This paper attempts to reveal the vertical specialization dependence relationship in East Asian countries using the multi country vertical specialization dependence modeling based on the Asian International Input-Output data. Use of multi country model allows us to study the country-wise vertical specialization association that is not possible with the

Evolving Cityscapes: Agglomeration and Specialization with Mobile Labor and Vertical Linkages [PDF]

open access: yes
In "new economic geography" models, spatial concentration typically arises either because of worker mobility or because of vertical linkages among firms. We examine a setup that combines those two approaches in conjunction with local congestion costs. We

Pixelation‐Free, Monolithic Iontronic Pressure Sensors Enabling Large‐Area Simultaneous Pressure and Position Recognition via Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pixelation‐free, monolithic iontronic pressure sensor enables simultaneous pressure and position sensing over large areas. AC‐driven ion release generates spatially varying impedance pathways depending on the pressure. Machine learning algorithms effectively decouple overlapping pressure–position signals from the multichannel outputs, achieving high ...
