VERTICAL TRANSMISSION OF DENGUE INFECTION: THE FIRST PUTATIVE CASE REPORTED IN CHINA
SUMMARY Dengue is a systemic viral infection that is commonly transmitted between humans via mosquitoes. Other modes of transmission such as the vertical one are rare and have been infrequently reported in the literature.

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Diel vertical migration strategies of zooplankton in oligotrophic Russell Pond, New Hampshire [PDF]
Russell Pond is an ultra-oligotrophic lake with low chlorophyll a (1.9 mg L-1), total phosphorus (3.4 mg L-1), high Secchi Disk (10.4 m) and high light transmission (water coefficient of water, kw=0.33). Vertical migration of Chaoborus, Bosmina, Daphnia,

Vertical Transmission of Mycoplasma pneumoniae Infection [PDF]
Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a significant cause of pneumonia in school-aged children and young adults. We report a case of neonatal M. pneumoniae pneumonia in a preterm child manifesting in the first hours of life. Vertical transmission was demonstrated by the detection of M.

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
