Measuring Black Hole Light Echoes with Very Long Baseline Interferometry
Light passing near a black hole can follow multiple paths from an emission source to an observer due to strong gravitational lensing. Photons following different paths take different amounts of time to reach the observer, which produces an echo signature

ABSTRACT The Gollum Channel System is a land‐detached large‐scale canyon‐channel system situated offshore southwest Ireland on the Northeast Atlantic margin. The system has been considered inactive with downslope gravity flows since the last glacial period, but geophysical data in some of its branches do suggest Holocene activity.

Aldebaran's angular diameter: how well do we know it? [PDF]
The bright, well-known K5 giant Aldebaran, alpha Tau, is probably the star with the largest number of direct angular diameter determinations, achieved over a long time by several authors using various techniques.

Tacrolimus and Hyaluronate Therapy Enhance Tear Film Stability in Canine Evaporative Dry Eye Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Evaluate the efficacy of a therapeutic approach combining tacrolimus and hyaluronate‐based lubricant for the management of evaporative dry eye disease (EDED) in dogs, compared to hyaluronate monotherapy. Procedures Fifty‐four client‐owned dogs with EDED were randomly assigned to three groups (n = 18 each): Group 1 received 0.03 ...

Impact of atmospheric turbulence on geodetic very long baseline interferometry [PDF]
We assess the impact of atmospheric turbulence on geodetic very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) through simulations of atmospheric delays. VLBI observations are simulated for the two best existing VLBI data sets: The continuous VLBI campaigns CONT05 ...

Current SARS‐CoV‐2 vaccines generate short‐lived, strain‐specific immunity. A polymeric TLR7 agonist nanoparticle (TLR7‐NP) adjuvant enhances lymph node targeting and promotes early and sustained germinal center responses toward conserved S2 epitopes of the spike protein.

The Radio Fundamental Catalog. I. Astrometry
We present an all-sky catalog of absolute positions and estimates of correlated flux density of 21,942 compact radio sources determined from processing interferometric visibility data of virtually all very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) observing ...
