Simple‐Challenging‐Difficult (SCD) Difficulty Classification for Horizontal Bone Augmentation
ABSTRACT Objective To present a novel difficulty classification for horizontal bone augmentation (HBA) grounded in site‐specific morphometric characteristics, aiming to assist clinicians in achieving predictable guided bone regeneration (GBR). Overview HBA is often needed after tooth loss for proper implant placement.

Analysis of Vestibular Labyrinthine Geometry and Variation in the Human Temporal Bone
Stable posture and body movement in humans is dictated by the precise functioning of the ampulla organs in the semi-circular canals. Statistical analysis of the interrelationship between bony and membranous compartments within the semi-circular canals is

Digital denture with mucostatic base and functional borders: A cast‐free digital technique
Abstract Digital complete dentures fabricated using a mucostatic impression, like intraoral scans, are desirable for their beneficial effect on long‐term residual ridge stability but may have less retention than those fabricated with a mucocompressive impression.

A fully-integrated semicircular canal processor for an implantable vestibular prosthesis
This paper presents a fully-integrated semicircular canal processor for an implantable vestibular prosthesis. The system includes the entire processing chain required from the microsensor interface, through the required biomimetic transfer characteristics, to a current-mode signal, suitable for feeding the stimulator.

Development of a closed-loop neural prosthesis for vestibular disorders
Vestibular disorders can cause severe problems including spatial disorientation, imbalance, nausea, visual blurring, and even cognitive deficits. The CLONS project is developing a closed-loop, sensory neural prosthesis to alleviate these symptoms [1]. In this article, we outline the different components necessary to develop this prosthetic.
