The Journal of General Education, 2011ABSTRACTThere is little discussion as to the involvement of military students in higher education and their benefit to the classroom in the form of civic development and learning outcomes. The study suggests that all students benefit from these engagements but special considerations should be undertaken by creating positive learning environments.

Women & Health, 1994Women veterans represent a rapidly growing segment of the veteran population. This study examines how the utilization of VA hospitals by women veterans has changed since 1980. Information on the use of VA hospitals was obtained from the discharge database for all VA hospitals.
