Evaluation of therapeutic effects of D‐limonene following orchiopexy in the rat model of cryptorchidism

D‐limonene supplementation enhances testicular recovery following orchiopexy in a rat model of bilateral cryptorchidism. Treatment with D‐limonene reduces oxidative stress (↓MDA, ↑SOD, ↑GPx, ↑TAC), downregulates pro‐apoptotic proteins (↓TNF‐α, ↓BAX, ↓Caspase‐3), and upregulates anti‐apoptotic Bcl‐2 expression.

Comparative analysis of TP53 gene in Tupaia belangeri subspecies (Tupaia belangeri yaoshanensis vs. Tupaia belangeri chinensis) and identification of mutations in spontaneous tumor cases

This study provides the first evidence of natural TP53 variation between tree shrew subspecies and identifies somatic TP53 mutations in spontaneous tree shrew sarcomas. The high structural and functional conservation of tree shrew p53 with humans supports its utility as a relevant model for TP53‐related cancer research.

Baseline podocyte‐associated state and persistent cell–matrix transcriptional programs are associated with BALB/c substrain differences in adriamycin nephropathy

Two closely related BALB/c substrains exhibit different early responses to adriamycin (ADR)‐induced nephropathy. BALB/cByJcl mice showed lower baseline WT1‐positive nuclei counts and NPHS1 immunoreactivity than BALB/cAJcl mice, together with extracellular matrix and integrin programs that were enriched at baseline and persisted at Day 5.

Neuroprotection after transient middle cerebral artery occlusion in male rats using kojic acid nanostructured lipid carriers: A behavioral, biochemical, and histological study on hippocampal CA1 region

This study demonstrates that kojic acid–loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (KA‐NLC) provide significant neuroprotection in a male rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO)–induced stroke. Treatment with KA‐NLCs reduced cerebral edema, improved motor and coordination balance and neurological scores, and enhanced spatial and avoidance memory.
