Mathematical Modeling of a VGO Hydrotreating Reactor

SPE Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference, 2001
Abstract This paper presents a mathematical model developed for the operating simulation of a trickle-bed reactor. Furthermore, the model has been fixed to emulate the operation of the three reactors used at the gas oil hydrotreatment reactors available at Amuay refinery (PDVSA).

Scheduling for VGOS twin-telescopes

2016
The technique of Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) allows the estimation of all five Earth Orientation Parameters (EOP), the International Celestial Reference Frame (ICRF) and it is a primary contributor to the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF), in particular with information about its scale.

Protolytic cracking in Daqing VGO catalytic cracking process

Journal of Fuel Chemistry and Technology, 2008
Abstract The protolytic cracking of Daqing vacuum gas oil (VGO) catalytic cracking process was studied by conducting multiple series of experiments from the low reaction conversion to high conversion over acid catalyst in a small fixed fluid bed (FFB) unit. A concept of the secondary protolytic cracking is proposed for VGO catalytic cracking process.

VGOS Source Selection Criteria

2016
Source structure has long been recognized as a significant risk factor for the broadband method. The issue of greatest concern is that structure related phases and delays will lead to cycle slips during broadband phase connection. These errors are subtle to detect and difficult or impossible to correct after the fact.
