Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Gas Damping Coefficient Research for MEMS Comb Linear Vibration Gyroscope [PDF]
Silicon-MEMS gyroscope is an important part of MEMS (Micro Electrical Mechanical System). There are some disturb ignored in traditional gyroscope that must be evaluated newly because of its smaller size (reach the level of micron).

Imprinting the memory into paste and its visualization as crack patterns in drying process
In the drying process of paste, we can imprint into the paste the order how it should be broken in the future. That is, if we vibrate the paste before it is dried, it remembers the direction of the initial external vibration, and the morphology of ...

Protein Conformational Changes and Low-Frequency Vibrational Modes: A Similarity Analysis
The study of protein vibration and dynamics is receiving increasing attention among researchers, both from a numerical and experimental perspective. By using terahertz spectroscopy techniques, it has been shown that conformational changes, crucial for protein biological function, are strictly related to low-frequency vibrational modes.

Induced and endogenous acoustic oscillations in granular faults
The frictional properties of disordered systems are affected by external perturbations. These perturbations usually weaken the system by reducing the macroscopic friction coefficient.
