Microsphere‐Templated Conductive Syntactic Foams for Recyclable and Additively Manufactured Soft Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a microsphere‐templated strategy to fabricate reprocessable PEDOT:PSS syntactic foams with tunable porosity, stable conductivity, and 3D printability. In situ PEDOT:PSS coatings create a conductive network that maintains electrical performance at high void fractions.

A non-linear stiffness experimental device for shock isolation

open access: yes, 2013
Shock vibration is a common problem involving large forces and accelerations, usually resulting in non linear behavior. Normally shock isolation systems are modeled eith linear passive stiffness elements intended to absorb the energy from the shock, and ...

Transmission of Vibration into Vibration-Isolated Buildings

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control, 1991
Buildings constructed above or near underground and surface roads and railways often include some type of vibration isolation in their foundations. The effectiveness of such isolation measures is usually calculated by treating the building as a rigid block and the resulting mass-spring-damper system as a single-degree-of-freedom oscillator whose ...

Engineered AuNPs/fMWCNT Nanocomposite Electrodes for High‐Sensitivity Methylglyoxal Sensing in Saliva and Sweat for Non‐Invasive Diabetes Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An AuNPs/fMWCNT nanocomposite‐modified screen‐printed carbon electrode was engineered via sequential electrodeposition and integrated into a 3D‐printed microfluidic platform for ultrasensitive methylglyoxal detection. The non‐invasive sensing platform enables rapid analysis in saliva and sweat, highlighting strong potential for wearable point‐of‐care ...
