Vibration isolation characteristics and control strategy of parallel air spring system for transportation under abnormal road and eccentric load conditions

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2021
The precision equipment bears the vibration excited by the road roughness during transportation, and faces the risk of damage arising from the vibration.

Creating Ti–Fe α/β Alloys by Diffusion‐Driven Solid‐State Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study proposes making alloys containing fast diffusing elements that are difficult to produce by ingot metallurgy, by diffusion‐driven solid‐state HIP processing of elemental powders and low‐temperature homogenisation. Here, novel Fe‐Ti α–β alloys are formed having fine α–β lamellae, a small β prior grain size without significant intermetallics ...

Verification of Vibration Isolation Effectiveness of the Underwater Vehicle Power Plant

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2021
In order to enhance the vibration isolation effectiveness of an underwater vehicle power plant, and alleviate the mechanical vibration of the outer housing, initially discrete vibration isolators were improved, and three new types of ring vibration ...

Modeling Dislocation Cutting of γ′ Precipitates in Ni‐Base Superalloys: Linking Atomistic and Dislocation Dynamics Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Dislocation cutting of γ′ precipitates in Ni‐based superalloys is investigated by linking atomistic simulations with discrete dislocation dynamics. The critical cutting stress is shown to be governed by the antiphase boundary energy, while line tension effects promote edge‐preferred cutting.

Analysis of vibration isolation performance of parallel air spring system for precision equipment transportation

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2019
Precision equipment is usually accompanied with vibrations during road or railway transportation. Sometimes the vibration exceeds the given limit, leading to the damage of the equipment. It is necessary to control the vibration during the transportation.

A Practical Noise2Noise Denoising Pipeline for High‐Throughput Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A lightweight and reproducible denoising pipeline for high‐throughput Raman spectroscopy is introduced, based on a 1D convolutional autoencoder trained with a Noise2Noise strategy. Using only repeated short‐exposure acquisitions, the method suppresses stochastic noise without reference spectra, enabling reliable spectral reconstruction while preserving

Quasi-Zero Stiffness-Based Synchronous Vibration Isolation and Energy Harvesting: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
In recent years, the advantages of nonlinearity in vibration isolation and energy harvesting have become increasingly apparent. The quasi-zero stiffness (QZS) of the nonlinear term provided by the negative stiffness element can achieve vibration ...
