International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos in Applied Sciences and Engineering
This paper studies the effect of Gaussian white noise on homoclinic bifurcations and chaotic dynamics of a bistable, vibro-impact Smooth-and-Discontinuous (SD) oscillator. First, the SD oscillator is reproduced and generalized by installing a slider on a

CONTINUOUS DEPENDENCE ON DATA FOR VIBRO-IMPACT PROBLEMS
Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences, 2005We consider vibro-impact problems, i.e. mechanical systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom subject to frictionless unilateral constraints. The dynamics is described by a second-order measure differential inclusion completed by an impact law of Newton's type.

The typical bistable energy harvester (TBEH) systems usually have a limited working frequency bandwidth and low performance in energy conversion. This paper proposed a unilateral vibro-impact piezoelectric cantilever beam energy harvester.

Mechanisms operating under multiple numbers of collisions, for which the frequency is of the same order as their eigenfrequencies, are usually referred to vibro-impact systems. These systems include, as a rule, units with external or internal one-side contacts that lead to the arising and vanishing of gaps accompanied by repeated impacts.

The Results of the Vibro Impacts Technology Implementation
Proceedings, 2010The vibro impact Technology implementation results for last 12-15 years shown that it is highly ecologically friendly method which is very efficient and could increase oil production for 15-30 %, oil recovery up to 60-70 %, and substantially decrease watercut and volume of pumping in water.

Dynamics of a hybrid vibro‐impact nonlinear energy sink
ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 2019AbstractNonlinear energy sink (NES) is widely studied as a solution for energy harvesting and vibration mitigation problems under periodic, impulsive and stochastic excitations. Current work treats the dynamics of hybrid vibro‐impact NES (HVI‐NES) attached to a linear primary structure as a passive energy absorber (PES).

Melnikov’s method for a general nonlinear vibro-impact oscillator
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2009The classical Melnikov's method is applied to a second order differential equation with impact effects. The equation is a perturbation of a Hamiltonian system with a homoclinic orbit to the origin. Then the first-order Melnikov function can be obtained analytically in the usual way. The method is applied to a double-well Duffing oscillator with impacts,

Dynamics of Elastic Vibro-Impact Microsystems
2010In this chapter the main ideas of the application of the finite element method for analysis of elastic microsystems are related to the theories of nonlinear vibro-impact oscillations, optimal control and design. The results obtained during simulations indicate that structural parameters of microsystem have significant influence on the dynamical process.
