Abstract. This case shows a clinical example of the successful use of the drug Viburcol® during teething in a child. Thanks to the use of this drug, it was possible to quickly relieve symptoms such as irritability and loss of appetite due to teething.

Acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in infants, especially with concomitant denting, pose a complex diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for pediatricians. The presented clinical case describes the observation of a patient 6 months old with ARVI and acute nasopharyngitis developed against the background of teething.

THE USE OF VIBURCOL® FOR ACUTE RESPIRATORY VIRAL INFECTION IN CHILDREN

In this clinical example, the use of Viburcol® in a 2-year-old girl with acute nasopharyngitis is considered. The patient was admitted with complaints of low-grade fever, runny nose, lethargy and moodiness. As part of the complex therapy, Viburcol® rectal suppositories were prescribed 2 times a day for 5 days.
