Topological constraint model of alkaline earth vanadate glasses

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Glass Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Topological constraint theory has enabled the successful prediction of glass properties over a wide range of compositions. In this study, a topological constraint model is constructed for alkaline earth vanadate glasses based on experimental data.

Enhancement of mechanical and antimicrobial properties of silica, zeolite, and silver‐modified hydroxyapatite composites for biomedical applications

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, EarlyView.
Abstract Hydroxyapatite (HAp), due to its chemical similarity to natural bone minerals, is widely utilized in various biomedical fields. The development of HAp‐based composites is essential for improving the performance of materials used in bone tissue engineering, dentistry, and orthopedic applications.

Annual Research Review: What processes are dysregulated among emotionally dysregulated youth? – a systematic review

open access: yesJournal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, Volume 66, Issue 4, Page 516-546, April 2025.
Proliferation of the term “emotion dysregulation” in child psychopathology parallels the growing interest in processes that influence negative emotional reactivity. While it commonly refers to a clinical phenotype where intense anger leads to behavioral dyscontrol, the term implies etiology because anything that is dysregulated requires an impaired ...

Impact of various aging treatments on the microhardness and surface roughness of CAD‐CAM monolithic restorative materials

open access: yesJournal of Prosthodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose Dental ceramics deteriorate as a result of thermal aging and exposure to acidic solutions, which change their microhardness and surface roughness. This study assessed the resistance of several computer‐aided design and computer‐aided manufacturing (CAD‐CAM) restorative dental materials in terms of surface roughness and microhardness ...
