Journal of Ethology, 2018 The vicuna is a high Andean wild camelid that lives year-long in groups. We analyzed the social organization of 98 marked vicunas after capture and live shearing, focusing on group composition, spatial patterns, territoriality and habitat use. The social units analyzed were families, bachelor groups and solo animals.

International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2019 Ten strains of an Actinobacillus-like organism were isolated from alpaca (Vicugna pacos) in the UK over a period of 5 years, with no known epidemiological linkages. The isolates are distinct, based on both phenotype and genotype, from any previously described Actinobacillus species.
