Comparative Evaluation of Four Stereotactic Radiosurgery Planning Approaches for Treatment of Posterior Choroidal Melanoma

This study evaluated four stereotactic radiosurgery planning approaches for posterior choroidal melanoma (CM). Analysis of thirteen CM cases resulted in a clinically meaningful reduction in dose to the brain for Brainlab Elements modulated arcs (BE) and Varian Eclipse HyperArc modulated arcs (HA) compared to Brainlab iPlan dynamic conformal arc therapy

The European honey buzzard (Pernis apivorus) as an ally for the control of the invasive yellow‐legged hornet (Vespa velutina nigrithorax)

The predatory effect of the honey‐buzzard affects the reproductive performance of Asian‐hornet colonies, decreasing the density of workers over distance and time. The foraging distances of the honey‐buzzard concentrates within the first 2000 m from nest, which supports the results observed.
