Magnetically Guided Macrophage Immunobots Coordinate Iron‐Metabolic Cascades and Immunogenic Ferroptosis for Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magnetically guided macrophage immunobots integrate active tumor targeting with immunometabolic therapy. After systemic administration, magnetic actuation enhances immunobot retention and tumor penetration, while LPS‐functionalized FePt microrollers sustain M1‐like polarization through inflammatory and iron‐amplified oxidative signaling and trigger ...

PLXDC2 siRNA‐Mediated Intervention Attenuates Microglial Senescence Through cGAS‐STING Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PLXDC2 was identified as a microglial target in Parkinson's disease through human and mouse single‐cell analyses. Ferritin‐armed biomimetic nanovesicles delivered PLXDC2 siRNA, deferoxamine, and CeO2 nanoparticles across the blood–brain barrier, reducing cGAS‐STING activation, iron burden, oxidative stress, and senescence in microglia, thereby ...

Plant Metabolites Screening Identifies 7‐epi‐10‐Deacetyltaxol Inhibiting Cell Division by Interfering With the Cell Cycle and Microtubule Organization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, an efficient screening system is developed for plant metabolites to find a compound, 7‐epi‐10‐deacetyltaxol, inhibits tissue elongation. It suppresses plant growth through brassinosteroid and microtubule pathways. It is later applied to animal cells and human tumor organoids, resulting in similar cell division suppression. These findings

A Gut‐Brain Axis Underlying Succinate‐Associated Compulsive‐Like Behavior

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Gut‐derived succinate is associated with an excitatory‐inhibitory imbalance in dmPFC glutamatergic neurons, involving microglial SUCNR1 activation and vagal afferent signaling via upregulated gut 5‐HT4 receptors along the DVC‐CeA‐dmPFC circuit, changes that are linked to excessive compulsive‐like behavior.

Retrospective Grid Cells in the Medial Entorhinal Cortex Encode Past Paths During Spatial Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Retrospective grid cells are identified in the medial entorhinal cortex, with spatial firing patterns that become most grid‐like when activity is projected onto recently traversed locations. Their coding loses spatial precision in darkness and is disrupted during assisted movement, indicating that entorhinal representations incorporate recent path ...

Robotic-assisted versus video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for thymic epithelial tumours, from the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons Database

open access: yes
Objectives: Minimally invasive thymectomy is an accepted approach for early-stage thymic epithelial neoplasia, reducing pain and length of stay compared with open surgery.

Cannabinoid CB1 Receptor in Nociceptors Mediates Postoperative Analgesia via ASIC3 Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CB1R and ASIC3 are co‐expressed in CGRP+ nociceptors of mouse DRG. Plantar incision triggers an upregulation of ASIC3 and activation of ASIC3+ neurons, driving mechanical allodynia. CB1R activation suppresses ASIC3 function and downstream ERK1/2 phosphorylation, thereby braking nociceptive signaling and accelerating pain resolution.

AI‐Designed TREM1‐Targeted LYTAC Nanoparticles Reprogram the Neuroimmune Microenvironment in Traumatic Brain Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AI‐enabled de novo design of a TREM1 binder, integrated into a BBB‐crossing and macrophage‐targeted nanoplatform, enables TREM1 degradation and attenuates neuroinflammation, thereby promoting neuroprotection and tissue repair after traumatic brain injury. ABSTRACT Secondary neuroinflammation drives progressive damage after traumatic brain injury (TBI),
