Weighted Kernel Filter Based Anti-Air Object Tracking for Thermal Infrared Systems
Visual object tracking is an important component of surveillance systems and many high-performance methods have been developed. However, these tracking methods tend to be optimized for the Red/Green/Blue (RGB) domain and are thus not suitable for use ...

Deep Auxiliary Learning for Point Cloud Generation
Generation point cloud from single image is a classical problem in computer vision. The learning methods for this task often adopt local distance metrics as loss function, which means the generated points are not easy to meet the overall shape ...

Moving Object Detection Using Scanning Camera on a High-Precision Intelligent Holder
During the process of moving object detection in an intelligent visual surveillance system, a scenario with complex background is sure to appear. The traditional methods, such as “frame difference” and “optical flow”, may not able to deal with the ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Random Positional Deviations Correction for Each LED via ePIE in Fourier Ptychographic Microscopy
Fourier ptychography microscopy (FPM) is a lately developed technique, which achieves wide field, high resolution, and phase imaging, simultaneously. FPM stitches together the captured low-resolution images corresponding to angular varying illuminations ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Coarse-to-Fine Adaptive People Detection for Video Sequences by Maximizing Mutual Information †
Applying people detectors to unseen data is challenging since patterns distributions, such as viewpoints, motion, poses, backgrounds, occlusions and people sizes, may significantly differ from the ones of the training dataset. In this paper, we propose a
