Automatic blood detection in capsule endoscopy video [PDF]
We propose two automatic methods for detecting bleeding in wireless capsule endoscopy videos of the small intestine. The first one uses solely the color information, whereas the second one incorporates the assumptions about the blood spot shape and size.

Abstract In recent years, arthroscopic anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) repair techniques have been increasingly used in the treatment of chronic ankle instability. Arthroscopic approaches not only allow for the management of concomitant intra‐articular pathologies but also help minimize wound‐related complications associated with open surgery and ...

Abstract In patients with recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation and glenoid bone loss between 10% and 20%, isolated Bankart repair remains associated with a certain rate of postoperative redislocation. The optimal management for this patient subset is controversial. We describe an all‐arthroscopic technique using allogeneic bone strips for free graft

Lateral Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction Through a Mini‐Invasive Approach
Abstract Posterolateral rotatory instability is the most common form of elbow instability, secondary to valgus, supination, and axial loading in elbow extension. The lateral ulnar collateral ligament (LUCL) is the primary restraint to posterolateral rotatory instability and multiple techniques of repair and reconstruction of the LUCL have been reported
