Research and application of VoLTE video call quality based on machine learning

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
To overcome the shortcomings of current methods for evaluating VoLTE video call quality,a method for evaluating VoLTE video call quality without reference based on machine learning and network index parameters was proposed.Firstly, the network parameters ...

Adaptive Reservation of Network Resources According to Video Classification Scenes

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Video quality evaluation needs a combined approach that includes subjective and objective metrics, testing, and monitoring of the network. This paper deals with the novel approach of mapping quality of service (QoS) to quality of experience (QoE) using ...

Class IIa HDACs forced degradation allows resensitization of oxaliplatin‐resistant FBXW7‐mutated colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Insertion of impairments in test video sequences for quality assessment based on psychovisual characteristics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Assessing video quality is a complex task. While most pixel-based metrics do not present enough correlation between objective and subjective results, algorithms need to correspond to human perception when analyzing quality in a video sequence.

Subjective Video Quality Assessment in H.264/AVC Video Coding Standard [PDF]

open access: yesTelfor Journal, 2012
This paper seeks to provide an approach for subjective video quality assessment in the H.264/AVC standard. For this purpose a special software program for the subjective assessment of quality of all the tested video sequences is developed.

Video Quality Assessment

open access: yes, 2012
One of the main aspects which affects the video compression and needs to be deeply analyzed is the quality assessment. The chain of transmission of video over a determined channel of distribution, such as broadcast or a digital way of storage, is limited, and requires a process of compression, with a consequent degradation and the apparition of ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
