Tracking multiple individuals for video communication
Proceedings 2001 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.01CH37205), 2002We propose a new interpretation platform dedicated to video communication. Basically, a video communication system takes an image flow from a camera and broadcasts it in a computer network. The goal of interpretation is to enable the video communication system to adapt automatically the broadcasted image flow, using image filtering, blurring and ...

Interleaved detection and tracking of faces in video
IEEE International Conference on Image Processing 2005, 2005In this note it is discussed how face detection and tracking in video can be achieved relying on a detection-tracking loop. Such integrated approach is appealing with respect either to robustness and computational efficiency.

Probabilistic Detection and Tracking of Faces in Video
2005In this note it is discussed how face detection and tracking in video can be achieved relying on a detection-tracking loop. Such integrated approach is appealing with respect either to robustness and computational efficiency.

Tracking nonparameterized object contours in video
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2002We propose a new method for contour tracking in video. The inverted distance transform of the edge map is used as an edge indicator function for contour detection. Using the concept of topographical distance, the watershed segmentation can be formulated as a minimization.

Tracking Consistency Metric for Video Surveillance Tracking
2009 International Conference on Signal Processing Systems, 2009The aim of this paper is to propose an additional performance tracking metric. The performance of a tracking algorithm depends on the parameters that are being tracked ranging from reference points that cover edges and corners, to blob parameters such as size, trajectory and color.

Tracking filter algorithm for automatic video tracking
SPIE Proceedings, 2006In addition to servo control and power amplification, motion control systems for optical tracking pedestals feature capabilities such as electro-optical tracking using an integrated Automatic Video Tracker (AVT) card. An electro-optical system tracking loop is comprised of sensors mounted on a pointing pedestal, an AVT that detects a target in the ...
