Saucerneol Inhibits the Growth, Migration, and Invasion of Osteosarcoma Cells In Vitro and Prevents Metastasis‐Associated Osteolysis Ex Vivo

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, EarlyView.
Saucerneol (Sauc) is a phytochemical compound classified as a lignan, derived from Saururus chinensis. The JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway is the primary target of Sauc in osteosarcoma cells. Sauc disrupts mitochondrial potential and increases reactive oxygen species (ROS), leading to apoptotic cell death.

Machine Learning‐Assisted Sensitivity Analysis for Stochastic Fatigue Life Modeling of Metals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Predicting fatigue life with precision requires more than isolated evaluations of mechanical properties; it requires an integrated approach that captures the interdependencies between various parameters, including elastic modulus, tensile strength, yield strength, and strain‐hardening exponent.

Global prevalence of short bowel syndrome–associated intestinal failure in adults and children: A targeted literature review and analysis

open access: yesNutrition in Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Short bowel syndrome–associated intestinal failure (SBS‐IF) is a rare disease caused by loss of function of the intestinal surface area and the subsequent inability to maintain nutrient and fluid balance on a normal diet, which results in the need for parenteral nutrition (PN) and/or intravenous fluids.
