The FPF Gene Family in Tomato: Genome-Wide Identification and the Role of SlFPF1 in Gibberellin-Dependent Growth

open access: yesAgriculture
Flowering promoting factor 1 (FPF1) is a key regulator of plant flowering time. While the functions of the FPF family have been characterized in species such as Arabidopsis and rice, systematic studies on the tomato FPF family remain limited.

Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

It Takes a Village…

open access: yesThe Senior Care Pharmacist
Recent research in new drug treatments for dementia such as anti-amyloid therapies have certainly piqued interest in the future possibilities for dementia pharmacotherapy. However, as with many medicines, the drugs have side effects, are expensive, and the evidence is still evolving. Furthermore, the first principles in any disease state management

Integrating Ambulatory Care Pharmacists Into Value-Based Primary Care: A Scalable Solution to Chronic Disease

open access: yesJournal of Primary Care & Community Health
Introduction/Objectives: Patients living with chronic diseases require more medical attention, including more visits to primary care. However, primary care providers are overburdened, and this specialty is attracting fewer new providers than before ...

Laser‐Assisted Phase Engineering of 2D MoS2 for Efficient Solution‐Processed Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Here, local laser‐assisted phase transition from solution‐processed phase‐pure 1T′ to 2H MoS2 is shown to critically depend on the irradiation atmosphere. While processing in air leads to damaged insulating regions, inert conditions yield semiconducting 2H domains, enabling direct field‐effect transistor patterning with optimized lateral 1T′‐2H MoS2 ...

The DNA methylation landscape of primary triple-negative breast cancer

open access: yesNature Communications
Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a clinically challenging and molecularly heterogenous breast cancer subgroup. Here, we investigate the DNA methylation landscape of TNBC. By analyzing tumor methylome profiles and accounting for the genomic context
