Tracking the impact of bottom trawling on benthic habitat status

High Levels of Straying in Returning, Repeat‐Spawning Atlantic Salmon Between Two Neighbouring Danish Rivers

We studied the seaward and return migration of Atlantic salmon kelts from both wild and hatchery origin in River Skjern, Denmark. Of the 199 tagged animals, 110 reached the ocean (55%). Only 10 kelts were recorded returning after spending more than 1 year at sea.

Abstract This paper uses linked Census records from 1871 to 1901 to compute intergenerational mobility for Canadian regions and census divisions. Extreme Rhythm Keeping in Long‐Range Slow Click Communication of Sperm Whales

In this study, we show that male sperm whales produce low‐frequency slow clicks at low repetition rates with extreme source levels > 200 dB re 1 µPa (pp), making them the loudest mammalian communication signal, with an estimated active space of ∼70 km.
