A Note on n‐Divisible Positive Definite Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Let PD(ℝ) be the family of continuous positive definite functions on ℝ. For an integer n > 1, a f ∈ PD(ℝ) is called n‐divisible if there is g ∈ PD(ℝ) such that gn = f. Some properties of infinite‐divisible and n‐divisible functions may differ in essence. Indeed, if f is infinite‐divisible, then for each integer n > 1, there is an unique g such that gn =

Switching the Inhibitor‐Enzyme Recognition Profile via Chimeric Carbonic Anhydrase XII

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 10, Issue 5, Page 567-580, May 2021., 2021
Chimeric carbonic anhydrase XII (chCA XII), based on CA II with six key amino acids in the active site mutated according to CA XII, recognized ligands as CA XII and not CA II. The compounds that bound CA XII more strongly than CA II switched their preference and interacted with higher affinity with chCA XII.
