Liquid PV Module Encapsulation to Enable Circular Design
This study demonstrates a novel liquid encapsulation technology to enable circularity in c‐Si photovoltaic modules. The optical properties and power conversion efficiency of liquid encapsulation is similar to EVA encapsulation and better than air encapsulation.

PET trays pose recycling challenges due to multilayer structures with polyethylene (PE) tie‐layers and barrier materials. In this study, a delamination process using a hot alkaline solution was applied to postindustrial multilayer PET/PE thermoforming waste to recover PET flakes and produce sheets.
