Person identification through emotions using violas Jones algorithm
This paper presents an algorithm to identify a person through his emotional state using neural network which are completed in two phase, first is database creation in which we take user image and an audio file as an input, and add the features to the database. This is done by the code named createDatabase.m in MATLAB.

Evolution of the Viola-Jones Object Detection Method: A Survey
Summary: The Viola and Jones algorithm is one of the most well-known methods of object detection in digital images. Over the past 20 years since the first publication, the method has been extensively studied, and many modifications of the original algorithm and its individual parts have been proposed by researchers and engineers. Some ideas popularized

ABSTRACT Based on the Punctuated Equilibrium Theory (PET) and implementation research, this study proposes an extended conceptualization of policy punctuation that enables researchers to systematically include policy implementation as part of a punctuation. The key mechanisms underlying the PET, i.e., policy image and venue, information processing, and

A hysteretic model predicts a time lag in the response of herbaceous layer variables (e.g., cover, diversity) to decreasing N deposition. To the contrary, virtually all such variables displayed a surprising sensitivity to decreased N. ABSTRACT Increases in nitrogen (N) emissions during the 20th century resulted in the atmospheric deposition of N ...

New Zealand Geological Timescale 2025
New Zealand Geological Timescale 2025 (NZGT 2025) is the first comprehensive update and revision of the New Zealand Geological Timescale in a decade. The criteria used to establish age ranges of New Zealand Stages within the NZGT have been reviewed, calibrated, and revised where required against the 2023/04 International Chronostratigraphic Chart and ...

Robust multi-clue face tracking system [PDF]
In this paper we present a multi-clue face tracking system, based on the combination of a face detector and two independent trackers. The detector, a variant of the Viola-Jones algorithm, is set to generate very low false positive error rate.
