In this study, we find CD55+ neutrophils show activated NETosis within bone marrow, induce BMSC senescence and osteogenesis inhibition, finally leading to bone aging initiation. Mechanistically, ROS synergizes with the CD55‐driven HIF1α‐PADI4 pathway to promote NETosis.

In macrophage‐myofibroblast transition, upregulated NNMT depletes S‐Adenosylmethionine (SAM) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD+), thereby triggering epigenetic reprogramming via Histone H3 Lysine 27 acetylation (H3K27ac) accumulation at the promoter region of master transcription factor Prrx1.

This study investigates how ischemia‐free liver transplantation (IFLT) shapes both local and systemic immune responses compared with conventional liver transplantation (CLT). Our findings demonstrate that IFLT confers significant immunological protection by attenuating the STAT3‐HIF‐1α axis and enhancing the Heme‐HMOX1 pathway, two regulatory networks ...

Single‐cell transcriptomic and functional analyses identify SEMA3C as a key regulator of tumor progression and tumor microenvironment remodeling in penile squamous cell carcinoma. SEMA3C promotes epithelial–mesenchymal transition, tumor growth, and invasion while shaping an immunosuppressive microenvironment, highlighting its potential as a prognostic ...

Aldosterone‐producing adenomas (APAs) develop via two distinct paths: directly from adrenal zona glomerulosa (zG) cells, or stepwise from zG cells through aldosterone‐producing micronodules (APMs) before progressing to APAs. Advanced single‐cell and spatial analyses identified distinct cell states linked to oxidative stress and cell–cell interactions ...

Effect of transitional moisture change on the vibrational properties of violin-making wood
Wood is a very hygroscopic material. When submitted to different relative humidity (RH), which can typically be the case when an instrument is played in different places, the internal moisture content of wood will be changed. This is well known to result in dimensional swelling or shrinkage, and will also modify the wood mechanical or acoustical ...
