RELATIONS BETWEEN VIRASORO ALGEBRA AND KRICHEVER-NOVIKOV ALGEBRA ON A TORUS

Relations between Virasoro algebra and Krichever-Novikov (KN) algebra are investigated on a torus. Generators of the KN algebra are shown to be expressed by linear combinations of those of the Virasoro algebra. We also study the current algebra, which allows us to define the Krichever-Novikov-Kac-Moody (KNKM) algebra on the torus.

Lie bialgebras of not-finitely graded Lie algebras related to generalized Virasoro algebras

In this paper, the Lie bialgebra structures on a class of not-finitely graded Lie algebras related to generalized Virasoro algebras Ŵ are considered. We prove that all Lie bialgebras on Ŵ are coboundary triangular.

THE BACKLUND TRANSFORMATION, VIRASORO ALGEBRA, AND SYMMETRIES RELATED TO THE CYLINDRICALLY SYMMETRIC SELF-DUAL YANG–MILLS EQUATION

We have obtained the Backlund transformation and symmetry generators for the cylindrically symmetric self-dual Yang–Mills equation through a gauge transformation ∈ SL(2, c). It is shown that there exists a subclass of transformations which generate a Virasoro algebra under commutation.
