On the virial expansion of model adsorptive systems. [PDF]

open access: yesMol Phys, 2021
We investigate the thermodynamic properties of various super-critical model adsorptive systems with different fluid–solid attractive strengths using the confined density virial expansion, with coefficients calculated using the Mayer-sampling Monte Carlo method up to fifth order.

Morse oscillator equation of state: An integral equation theory based with virial expansion and compressibility terms [PDF]

open access: yesHeliyon, 2022
A number of interaction energy types are employed in the vibrations studies, especially in the spectroscopic analysis, such as the harmonic oscillator and Morse oscillator.

Toward an Automated-Algebra Framework for High Orders in the Virial Expansion of Quantum Matter

open access: yesCondensed Matter, 2022
The virial expansion provides a non-perturbative view into the thermodynamics of quantum many-body systems in dilute regimes. While powerful, the expansion is challenging as calculating its coefficients at each order n requires analyzing (if not solving)

Dielectric virial expansion of polarizable dipolar spheres. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Chem Phys, 2018
The dielectric virial expansion is developed for composite systems with embedded interacting dielectric dipolar spheres. Introducing a multiple-scattering expansion for the polarization energy in the presence of an external field enables the derivation of a virial expansion for the polarizability.

Trapping a Metastable Node in an Amorphous Metal-Organic Framework. [PDF]

open access: yesAngew Chem Int Ed Engl
Frustrated assembly in an amorphous Fe‐BDC framework is shown to trap a distorted, metastable Fe3O node as the dominant local motif. X‐ray PDF analysis and DFT calculations reveal that rapid network percolation outpaces node relaxation, locking in a high‐energy puckered geometry.

Modeling of Some Thermodynamic Properties of UF6 at Low Pressure Using Correlation Function [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Nuclear Research and Applications, 2021
The properties of uranium hexafluoride (UF6) are of importance to the nuclear industry as a precursor for the enrichment. Therefore it is of importance to obtain the most accurate properties for such a strategic compound.

Conserved charge fluctuations at vanishing net-baryon density from Lattice QCD [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2022
We present here continuum extrapolated results for all 2nd order cumulants using the most resent results obtained by the HotQCD collaboration in (2+1)-flavor QCD. We constrain the applicability of various HRG models by presenting a detailed comparison of

Virial expansion of the electrical conductivity of hydrogen plasmas [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2021
The low-density limit of the electrical conductivity $σ(n,T)$ of hydrogen as the simplest ionic plasma is presented as function of temperature T and mass density n in form of a virial expansion of the resistivity. Quantum statistical methods yield exact values for the lowest virial coefficients which serve as benchmark for analytical approaches to the ...

Multispecies Virial Expansions [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2014
We study the virial expansion of mixtures of countably many different types of particles. The main tool is the Lagrange-Good inversion formula, which has other applications such as counting coloured trees or studying probability generating functions in multi-type branching processes.

Virial expansion coefficients in the unitary Fermi gas

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2020
Virial expansion is widely used in cold atoms to analyze high temperature strongly correlated many-body systems. As the n-th order virial expansion coefficient can be accurately obtained by exactly solving up to n-body problems, the virial expansion ...
