Slip‐Adaptive Neural Control of Gecko‐Inspired Adhesive Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study introduces a neural adhesion controller to improve the stability of gecko‐inspired climbing robots. By integrating an echo state network and a multilayer perceptron, the system utilizes joint torque feedback to accurately estimate adhesion in both normal and shear directions and predict slips. This enables effective recovery from slip events,

Information behavior patterns and subjective digital well‐being: An exploratory study on perceptions of adults living in Germany

open access: yesJournal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract This exploratory study examines patterns of digital information behaviors such as information seeking, use, sharing, evaluation, avoidance, and curation to determine how they relate to subjective digital well‐being. To explore adults' personal views on their digital well‐being, conceptualized here as subjective digital well‐being, this study ...

Population pharmacokinetics and dose–response relationships of mitoxantrone in children with acute myeloid leukaemia

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Background Information on mitoxantrone pharmacokinetics in children is lacking and reduced dosing regimens applied to infants are supported by limited scientific rationale. The current study characterized mitoxantrone pharmacokinetics in a childhood acute myeloid leukaemia patient population and provides a data‐informed assessment of dosing.

Energy Storage Virtual Synchronous Generator-Based Control Method Considering Inertia Requirement for Supporting Wind Power in Primary Frequency Regulation

open access: yesIEEE Access
The large-scale integration of renewable energy such as wind power into the power grid has reduced the inertia level of the power system and weakened the grid’s frequency stability.
